Private to Hermione
Hermione, where are you? Please tell me you're running an errand for Flitwick or one of the other professors.

Private to Harry and Weasleys
Hermione's not in the Common Room. Does anyone have any idea where she is, or where she might be? Ron? Harry?

In light of recent events that have taken all of the fun out of the holidays, who's up for an Exploding Snap Tournament?

Harold, you can take wagers. I'm sure you can provide something in the way of a prize or two as well.

Who's interested?

Great game, Gryffindor.

Please don't let the reactions of some other students mar this victory for you. It was well deserved and just shows that all of our hard work pays off.

I haven't been this exhausted in a long while. All I really wanted was to just go home for Christmas and be able to not think about anything for a few days. That's looking more and more unlikely with every hour. What kind of a Christmas is this going to be with half of the school in quarantine or without magic, and the other half of us feeling as through we're walking on Acromantula shells.

On top of that, apparently my dead brother is floating through the corridors somewhere. How ironic that he's no interest in making his presence known to me. I can't This is ridiculous.

I'm in love with Michael. That's my only saving grace at the moment, I think.

Hopefully the game won't suffer this weekend.

Yet another unplanned late night.

Hexed against Neville Longbottom

Who wants to help me make an attempt at rebuilding the Greenhouses? I know it'll take a good while, and I know that we won't be able to get them back to their former glory, but at least it'll keep us out of trouble and give us something to do.

The Herbology students need them, and so does Neville.

I expect to see all members of my team to be at the next Quidditch practice. Understood?

Private to Michael
I've been given the all clear. But I want to see you. Pomfrey's sending me back to my dorms in the morning. Look out for me tonight, okay?

I'm heading to the Hospital Wing. Better to be safe than sorry.

Private to George, Ron, Hermione, Harry, Verity
Can you please not tell mum about this? I don't want to worry her when it's probably nothing.

Was this what I needed for me to actually figure this out? I have to see him. Him. It was there all along and I didn't--. There can't be a guard on the door every moment of every day.
End Private

Private to Verity
Are you here, too? I'm not sure if I'm infected with this thing, but I'd really like to talk to you about something.
End Private

The only difference about this quarantine thing is that we can't go to Hogsmeade anymore. But, still, the panic that this whole thing has caused -- thanks to the Ministry -- is a little bit scary.

Quidditch Team, rest assured practices will still go ahead. We've still got a cup to win.

Happy birthday, Hannah! I hope that you have a fantastic day, even if you have to sit through classes for most of it.

And happy birthday Simon and Emily for the other day! So sorry that it's belated. I'm sure the pair of you found something rather exciting to do to celebrate the day properly.

I can't believe the weather recently. It always get like this, every year, I'm sure. But so many of us are starting to get cabin fever, and if it's raining how are we supposed to go outside and just get away from everything for a bit? I'm sick of my robes, my parchment, my bag being wet.

Private to Hermione
Can I talk to you? I have some stuff to fill you in on.

The DA is regrouping.

Lunch time, Quidditch pitch, if you're interested. If you're not, find something else to do and leave the rest of us alone.

If you have any questions, or need someone to talk to, just let me know.

I can't believe it.

Something like this cannot be happening. Again! It just can't. Mum won't be as quick to leave us at school as she was last time. And it's McGonagall. What are we supposed to do without her? I can't believe it. End Private

Private to Harry
Where are you? Are you okay? I mean, of course you're not okay. I need to talk to you. End Private

Thanks for everyone who came out to tryouts yesterday! I'm going to have the list up in the Common Room by Friday afternoon, so keep an eye out for it. Please don't pester me for any information before that (Ron).

Quidditch tryouts this Wednesday! I expect every single Gryffindor to be there. Unless you're completely useless, then you are exempt. Please be on the pitch at 2:30pm. Promptly. I won't be inclined to listen to excuses.

Can I get a general idea of who is going to be there? I'll start drawing up trial teams.

Any questions, ask away.

Does anybody else wish that we all could've just apparated to Hogwarts and not had to bother with seeing those we'd rather not?

Quidditch pitch is booked for the second Friday back! You have been warned. All past players will be required to try out so as to prove that you've been keeping up your training over the last few months. Don't think that I'll let you off lightly. Ron.

Living with a child has been quite fun, too. Being the youngest, I've never held a baby, let alone been around one for an extended period of time. The novelty hasn't worn off, I'm starting to wonder if it will.

Oh, I've just read the Prophet! Does anyone else think that the Ministry should use those who're in Azkaban to serve as trial patients for the virus? At least they'd be put to good use. And without their magic that'd be virtually harmless.
